Pescador Island

Expertise Rating: Novice

The island that put Moalboal on the diver’s map and has, for many years, its gorgonians and fan corals has been the standard by which other Philippine dive sites were judged.

Currents are usually strong, but the visibility is great, usually more than 25m. Fish life encompasses virtually every tropical reef species imaginable. Prevalent species include scorpionfish, sea snakes, and moray eels. Some lucky divers have even spotted whale sharks.
